Everything
that moves.
Every plane and ship around you, live on one beautiful map. Tap anything to see what it is, where it’s headed and the path it’s flown.
No account. No ads.
Look up. Then look it up.
Real aircraft and real ships, gliding live. Only known facts, shown beautifully.
Every mile,
from takeoff.
Open any flight to see its route, the real aircraft with its photo, and the path it’s flown so far, drawn live as it goes.
Look up.
That’s a 747.
Notable Nearby taps you on the shoulder when a superjumbo, a military jet or an aircraft squawking an emergency passes close by, even with Vela closed.
Not just
the sky.
Ferries, tankers and cargo ships share the same map, with their names, destinations and photos when they broadcast them.
Your flight,
always in view.
Follow a flight on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with a heads-up as it approaches and when it lands.
Private by default.
Vela is built to show you the world, not to watch you.
The whole map works without signing up or signing in.
No advertising, no analytics SDKs, and we never sell data.
Our servers never receive your exact GPS position.
See what’s moving around you.
